It is very fortunate that education is not limited to any boundaries any more. It is not limited to bookish knowledge; practical?s of mundane subjects or projects on subjects that will eventually be of no relevance to us as individuals. In earlier time only exceptional people did what they really learned and for the rest of us these arts remained either a hobby or a dream to become till death. And as parents we would push our children to academics which have a high career path irrespective of the fact that it is a forced dream which our children end up with all their life.

At the university level student may receive academic credits for taking music courses which teaches them different music styles, history of music and listening to music. Students are also encouraged to participate in choir, concert bands or orchestra.
